- Greetings from South Bend, IN, currently the wettest place in the United Sates. I, Watermelon Girl, am currently a Sophomore at the University of Notre Dame. As of right now, I am a history major. I also study French and, obviously, Japanese. For all of you Ecole Polytechnique Students, I've been studying French for about eight years now, so hopefully my French won't be offensive. (Sorry about the lack of accents, haven't quite figured out how that works on blogs yet. . .) I hail from the relatively small and unknown city of Batavia, a suburb of Chicago. In what little spare time I do have, I: watch movies and play board games with friends, participate in various multicultural activities, write novels, and read books, and of course, eat watermelon, along with many other things.
